As we continue to clean and pack and sort
we found this quilt I made about 10 years ago.
I never liked it.
I'm not sure if it was the gold stars on the green or the plainness of the cream.
It doesn't matter because it has been put into the donations pile,
where I am sure it will find a home and be loved.
Funny how our tastes change.
Didn't the growing child want it? It looks big enough.
ReplyDeletePerhaps more quilting will "add" that something ...and then you will want to keep it?
ReplyDeleteBut if it's still to be donated... it will go to a good home! :)
Better someone think they hit the jackpot than looking at it and feeling annoyed with it! know that feeling :)
ReplyDeleteI am sure you could donate it to someone in NSW who has lost everything...
ReplyDeleteI sent some of mine form our hanging over there.
What a lovely thing to do Claire bear,it is such a lovely quilt.xx
