New Beginnings…

It’s still in the bag from Miss Milly’s as it was purchased yesterday, but it won’t be there for much longer.  It is going to become this;

and it is for my friend Carmel’s mother for her 80th birthday.  I was blown away when she asked me if I would make her mother a quilt – she had discussed it with her siblings and they thought a quilt would be perfect for her.  I just hope I can do both the quilt and the birthday girl justice.

    I'm sure it will be beautiful by your hand Claire. It will be made with LoVe so of course she will LoVe it! Love the fabric and pattern too. It's a winner! :)
