We took a trip to the historic township of Walhalla for a ride on the train.  Normally they use a steam engine but given the weather of late a diesel engine was in use – much more appropriate really.
We haven’t been on the train for approximately 6 or 7 years as baby bear #3 has some issues with movement (part of his Sensory Processing Disorder) and quite frankly last time was less than pleasant.
When the trip and ride were mentioned he was very keen…

once on the train anxiety started to build while we waited to move and he was a little unhappy as you can see from his precious little face, however as for baby bear #2,

she was very happy and even posed with her Dad which is a bonus when you’re all grown up and about to start Secondary School!

on the way back he was almost smiling…funny little thing he is, but he said he had a good time.
