Oh golly gosh

More mail arrived today
and I'm not sure what to do.
You see, I still have blocks 1 & 2 sitting in their packets.

So now number 3 has arrived I'm feeling a little twinge of
sadness, shame and regret all at the same time.

I am beginning to think that this one too is destined for the
"retirement" pile.
I just find it so difficult to work full time, manage a family and spend time sewing.
Anyone want to just pay me to stay home and sew?

  1. I am in the same boat with this one Claire. Mind you my block 3 hasn't shown up yet. Maybe a sewing weekend will be in order. Now how long before that new house is build as we can christen the sewing room and both work on our blocks :o) hugs

  2. You have to keep it for when you have time to make it. Or try to swap it with someone?

  5. Don't feel ashamed. We ALL have stashes. How can we not when there are so MANY lovely patterns out there. The saying 'Sew little time, Sew much to do' was said for a reason. If you feel bad about this project, you'll end up hating it. You don't want that. Do what you can, when you can.

  6. I've made my first block. My second one is still in it's packet and the third hasn't arrived yet. I can't believe I'm already behind schedule! LOL!
